In 2014, that line should be even better. The Rams used the 13th-overall pick of the first round in the 2014 draft to take former Pittsburgh Panthers’ defensive tackle Aaron Donald. Donald will join a line that features defensive tackle Michael Brockers and defensive ends Chris Long and Robert Quinn.
The Rams would obviously like to keep the group together long-term. That, however, means breaking the bank to keep Quinn and the two sides are reportedly discussing an extension.
According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, the Rams and Quinn have talked numbers but the side are not close at the moment. La Canfora that a deal would have to be worth at least $15 million per season.
Quinn had 57 tackles, including 19 sacks and seven forced fumbles for the Rams last season.
