On the heels of their first games against the St. Louis Rams, Peterson told ESPN, “Yeah, I might as well speak it: Touchdown, first run.”
Before everyone gets all sorts of bent out of shape over the bold predicition, lets revisit the last time the Vikings visited the Rams. With Norv Turner calling plays, Matt Cassel entrenched under center, and a plan of attack with Cordarrelle Patterson, the Vikings have weapons all over the field.
Preparing for kickoff on Sunday, it is no doubt that the Rams will use Adrian Peterson’s comments as bulletin board material. However, take head St. Louis, go ahead and stuff the box, Adrian Peterson is daring you. Remember, on that first carry, he’s got reservations for 6.
