Mini LeBron worked out with real LeBron on Friday. According to LeBron James’ Instagram, the Cleveland Cavalier took some time to get some work in with Eric Bledsoe.

James said Bledsoe will be an all-star “in no time.”

"Great work today lil bro @ebled2!! Future All-Star in this league in no time. PHX break bread. #Klutch #Work #GymRats #StriveForGreatnessFollowing"

A restricted free agent, Bledsoe is in the midst of a contract battle with the Phoenix Suns. Some earlier reports said he would sign a qualifying offer, but Bledseo and his agent Rich Paul (who is also James’ agent) have been positioning for a maximum offer all summer long.

James’ inclusion of the phrase “break bread” could be a referring to the Suns sharing the wealth and paying Bledsoe, or for the two sides to at least come to the table and reach an agreement.

The hold out has led to many trade rumors regarding Bledsoe. At first, Phoenix seemed adement not to trade Bledsoe but have apparently come off that as many rumors and reports have surfaced of possible trade packages involving the 24-year-old guard.

Many NBA fans refer to Bledsoe as “mini LeBron” because of his aggressiveness on both ends of the court. Bledsoe is one of the more physical point guards in the league who excels at getting to the rim and playing defense.
