Greg Hardy’s face paint violates NFL uniform code
By Josh Sanchez
Carolina Panthers defensive end Greg Hardy will need to write weekly checks to the NFL if he wants to continue stepping onto the field with his Kraken face paint.
According to a memo that was posted in the Panthers’ locker room, Hardy’s face paint is a violation of the NFL’s uniform code.
There is no word on how much the fine will be for wearing face paint on the field.
For other violations such as wearing the wrong cleats or socks, players can be docked more than $5,000.
The good news for Hardy? He will be playing this season under the franchise tag which means he will earn $13.1 million.
It is probably safe to assume we will continue to see the Kraken face paint on the field.
