NFL: Predicting the AFC’s division winners

Welcome to the second part of my two-part NFL preview! A week ago I predicted records for all 16 NFC teams, and today I preview the AFC. (If you missed part one, read it here.) Last season, the New England Patriots (12-4), Cincinnati Bengals (11-5), Indianapolis Colts (11-5) and Denver Broncos (13-3) won their respective divisions.

After getting throttled in last year’s Super Bowl, the Broncos have made major upgrades to their defense, with the rest of the conference looking to catch up with Denver’s dynamic and record-setting offense.

Will the Kansas City Chiefs and San Diego Chargers claim wild card spots again or will other teams rise to the occasion?
