The Pittsburgh Panthers pushed their record to 2-0 on the season Friday night with a 30-20 win over Boston College, as they continue to look every bit the part of the ACC Coastal Division contenders that everyone assumed they would be coming into the season. And again, Panthers wide receiver Tyler Boyd showed everyone why he should be considered one of the best in the nation at his position.

Before rolling to the 30-20 win, Pitt was actually down 7-3, early on in the second quarter. Well that Boston College lead would not last long as Panthers quarterback Chad Voytik would drop back and find Boyd for a 15-yard touchdown strike.
But, while Voytik did put a nice touch on the ball, Boyd made an incredible catch in coverage, showcasing once again just how important he is to this offense.
Watch Boyd make the play in the video below.
Not many people had Boyd on their Heisman Watch lists coming into the season, but with more plays like this throughout the year, he can work his way into the conversation.
On the night, Boyd finished the game with five catches for 72 yards and two scores.
But the real story here is that the Pitt Panthers do seem poised to make a legitimate run at that ACC Coastal title, and a date with more than likely Florida State in the conference title game.
