There was a crazy offensive game in the Division II Lone Star Conference Thursday night. And when I say crazy I mean crazy.

No, this is not one of those wacky “fire the intern” graphic mistakes. This image from ESPN is accurate. A Division II team destroyed another Division II team 98-20 on Thursday night, racking up a Division II record 986 offensive yards in the process.

And you thought Kenny Hill was the most impressive quarterback from a Texas A&M school? Guess again. Hill has nothing on Tyrik Rollison who racked up 562 yards and 6 TDs on 26-of-33 passing against East Texas Baptist.
Of course Rollison was very humble after the game, crediting everyone but himself for his amazing effort (via NCAA.com):
"“I have to give all the credit to my teammates on the edge catching passes and the offensive line for giving us time to work,” Rollison said."
Besides the Division II mark for most offensive yards, here are some more records tied and or broken by Texas A&M Commerce:
Lone Star Conference record for most points (98 – tied)
Lone Star Conference record for most touchdowns (13 – tied)
Lone Star Conference record for most PATs attempted (13) and made (11 – tied)
There is a football conference named after Rust Cohle’s favorite beer, and in that conference a team scored 98 points in one game while going for almost 1,000 yards. This is possibly the most amazing thing ever.
Football truly is a flat circle, that comes back around and hits East Texas Baptist right in the ass. Over and over. Forever.
