College Gameday producer Lee Fitting was on the Paul Finebaum show on Friday and as he has done throughout the past few months teased the fans in Oxford, Mississippi with the potential appearance for the nation’s favorite pregame show.
Fitting has said The Grove at Ole Miss is on the top of his wish list for sites to host Gameday but extenuating circumstances just haven’t allowed for ESPN to show up at one of the best tailgating destinations in college football.
Appearing on @finebaum, @leefitting teased a potential GameDay appearance for the show in Oxford if Ole Miss is undefeated for Alabama game.

Can Ole Miss go undefeated?
The Rebels look to improve to 2-0 against the Vanderbilt Commodores on Saturday and should fare well after seeing the ‘Dores blown out in their opener against Temple in Week 1.
After this week, Ole Miss hosts Louisiana-Lafayette, which is a game that should not be overlooked, and the Memphis Tigers two weeks later on Sept. 27.
Ole Miss will be favored in each of their games leading up to Alabama, so the chances they can be 5-0 leading into the Alabama game.
Will that convince Fitting and ESPN bring their show to Oxford?
Considering the landscape and atmosphere at Ole Miss, it should.
