The Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers are set to square off in the first game of the NFL season on Sunday. Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant and 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick teamed up for a Madden commercial, alongside Kevin Hart and Dave Franco, released earlier this summer.

Apparently at some point during the filming, Bryant decided to play what he labels a prank on Kaepernick. Just sitting in a chair minding his own business, it looks like Kaepernick is playing a vide game or on his phone as he listens to some music in his Beats by Dre headphones.

Bryant walks up and grabs the cord that connects the headphones to the device and snips it, to Kaepernick’s surprise.

I think it is kind of odd labeling this as a prank, it certainly is a weak one at that. It isn’t particularly funny or creative, just kind of mean. But I guess the headphones couldn’t block out the noise this time.
