The good news for Lacy and the Packers, however, was that Lacy would now have ten days to get full medical clearance after going through the league’s concussion protocol.
According to a report from Pro Football Talk, the running back seems to believe he will do just that.
The news from Pro Football Talk came just after Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said Lacy passed the first stage of the NFL’s concussion protocol.
McCarthy: Eddie Lacy has cleared first step of concussion protocol. Was told Eddie feels very good today.

For Lacy, the most important thing will be to not rush back, even if he does feel good.
Despite wearing a helmet designed to prevent concussions, Lacy suffered his second concussion in 16 regular season games. It is better safe than sorry, especially with something as serious as head injuries.
