In their opener last weekend, the defending SEC East Champions defeated South Dakota State, 38-18, to get the year started off right as they look to defend their divisional crown.
Maty Mauk, in his first start under center of the season, threw for 178 yards on 13-of-21 passing with three touchdowns and no interceptions. But the star of the high-powered Missouri offense thus far has been running back Russell Hansbrough, who rushed for 126 yards and a touchdown in the season-opening win.
Toledo also comes into this one at 1-0 on the season, winning their opening game last week against New Hampshire, 54-20. With Missouri still having some struggles on the defensive side of the ball, this Toledo offense should get some opportunities to make something happen, and the upset bid could be a possibility.
