Last week in their opener, the Huskers handily took care of FAU, 55-7, to get the season started off right as they begin their quest for a return trip to the Big Ten Championship Game.
Quarterback Tommy Armstrong was rather efficient in his first start of the season, throwing for 271 yards and two touchdowns. Heisman hopeful running back Ameer Abdullah was phenomenal on the ground, as well, rushing for 232 yards and a score. His back up, Terrell Newby, was nearly just as good, gaining 107 yards in 16 carries with two scores.
This Nebraska team has a lot of holes to fill from last season, however they got off to a fantastic start last week against FAU. For this game on Saturday, though, they will be without stud defensive end Randy Gregory, who is out with an injury.
