Saturday night the primetime stage belongs to two of the more consistent teams in all of college football throughout the better part of the last decade as the Ohio State Buckeyes will welcome in the Virginia Tech Hokies to Columbus for a huge early season showdown.

Despite being without quarterback Braxton Miller for the entire season, the Buckeyes earned a win in their opener last weekend against Navy behind the arm of sophomore J.T. Barrett, who struggled a bit early on, but then was able to settle in in the second half.
If there were any glaring weaknesses for the Buckeyes in the opener, it was the offensive line. The four new starters did not seem comfortable at all, and that was more than likely addressed as they prepared for this huge match up this week.
Virginia Tech also comes into this one with a record of 1-0 on the season, although their competition was a little easier, as they obliterated William and Mary to start their season off.
