The Ole Miss Rebels will try and push their record to 2-0 on the season this Saturday, as they head on the road for an SEC match up with the Vanderbilt Commodores in Nashville.

Last week the Rebels, a sleeper among many in the SEC West, got their season off to a positive start when they handily defeated the Boise State Broncos in Atlanta. After getting off to a slow start, they turned it on down the stretch and flashed some of the athleticism they possess on this team, which is exactly why many are so high on them.
Vanderbilt, on the other hand, was not as fortunate in their opener at home last week. In the first game of the Derek Mason era, Vanderbilt was blown out by the Temple Owls, and they have some serious issues to fix on both sides of the ball.
Whether or not they were able to get those fixed in time for Saturday’s game remains to be seen, but if they haven’t, it could get very ugly in this one.
