Bledsoe is still the only restricted free agent on the market, he still wants a max contract from the Suns and Phoenix still doesn’t want to give it to him. That lack of progress is starting to make everyone frustrated as Bledsoe will soon have little choice but to play for the Suns this year even though he doesn’t want to.
The Suns and Bledsoe need to work something out, but it’s becoming very clear that this is going to be the last year in Phoenix for the guard. Not only is the team loaded at the point, but they’ve been in a standoff with Bledsoe all summer long and it’s eroding whatever relationship there was in the first place.
