If the Wildcats are able to avoid the upset and get the win against the Cyclones, they owe a lot to Randall Evans who pulled off one of the more remarkable interceptions you will see this or any weekend in the 2014 college football season.
I am still not sure how Evans was able to get his hands around the ball and secure the interception for Kansas State, but as you can see in the gif below, he was able to reel it in and force the game’s lone takeaway to this point.

Charles Jones scored on a touchdown run to draw the score to 28-26 with the Wildcats needing a field goal to take the lead back with less than four minutes remaining.
The good news for Kansas State is Tyler Lockett has looked healthy after he was removed in the opener last week. He has five receptions for 113 yards and Jake Waters has 216 yards passing and 87 yards rushing and a touchdown at this point.
But the play of the day so far is the interception from Evans.
