Last week in their opening game of the season, the Aggies shocked a lot of people by showing that they could be better than ever, despite losing Johnny Manziel. In his place this season has stepped in sophomore Kenny Hill, who didn’t waste any time in making his presence felt.
In the opening stunner over South Carolina on the road last week, Hill threw for 511 yards in the win, surpassing Manziel for the most yards thrown in a single game in school history. It was a clear reminder that although they lost the most polarizing figure in school history, they are not going to just roll over and become the door mat of the SEC.
It was also a reminder that Kevin Sumlin is one of the best coaches in the game.
