Wisconsin went down to Texas last week to go toe-to-toe with the LSU Tigers of the SEC, and f0r a good amount of time, it appeared as if they were poised to stun everyone watching and walk out of there with a blowout win.
Well, things did not work out that way. The Badgers squandered a 24-7 lead that they took into the third quarter and ended up losing the game, 28-24. For whatever reason, head coach Gary Andersen decided to take the ball out of the hands of his workhorse, Melvin Gordon, who still ended up with 140 yards rushing in the loss.
Not all hope is lost this season for Wisconsin, as they still showed some good life against a solid LSU program. However, they will need to run the table the rest of the way, beginning on Saturday.
