AP Top 25 College Football: Week 3

There were are few changes in the AP Poll this week, but you will get that whenever ranked teams play each other. Here is the AP Top 25 Poll for week 3:

1. Florida State: FSU stays at the top after a ho-hum victory over the Citadel.

2. Oregon: Duck U jumps to two with an impressive win over Sparty.

3. Alabama: They will have every opportunity to gain that two spot back once the SEC season starts.

4. Oklahoma: Blasted Tulsa to hold the four spot.

5. Auburn: Hey, at least San Jose State is an FBS team.

6. Georgia: Off week doesn’t hurt the Dawgs.

7. Texas A&M: Beat Lamar by 70 to gain two spots.

8. Baylor: No Bryce Petty? No problem! The Bears still hit 70!

9. USC: The Trojans crack the top 10 with an hard fought win at Stanford.

10. LSU: Blanked Sam Houston State to crack the top 10.

11. Notre Dame: The Irish gain five spots by hammering Michigan in their last matchup for the foreseeable future.

12. UCLA: Fall one spot after a lackluster defensive showing in hope opener against Memphis.

13. Michigan State: Sparty is down six after getting roughed up by the Ducks.

14. Mississippi: Manhandled Vandy to move up a spot.

15. Stanford: Only fall two spots after dropping  heartbreaker to USC.

16. Arizona State: The Sun Devils are up one after dominating Weber State.

17. Virginia Tech: The Hokies jump into the top 25 after a nice win in Columbus.

18. Wisconsin: Stay at 18 with methodical win over Western Illinois.

19. Kansas State: Were fortunate to escape Ames with a win, but they gain a slot.

20. Missouri: They thumped Toledo on the road to make it into the top 20.

21. Louisville: Dominated Murray State to move up four spots.

22. Ohio State: Dropped a whopping 14 spots after loss to Virginia Tech.

23. Clemson: Their offense looked great in win over South Carolina……..State.

24. South Carolina: Survived a scare from East Carolina, but still drop three spots.

25: BYU: Destroyed Texas in Austin to earn a national ranking.

Out of rankings: Nebraska, North Carolina
