Darren Sproles runs 41 yards untouched for Philadelphia Eagles TD (Video)
The Philadelphia Eagles were late getting started Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars but finally their first touchdown came early in the third quarter when Darren Sproles was handed the ball and ran up the middle untouched and 41 yards more to made the game 17-7 with the Jaguars leading.

The Eagles started the drive on their own 20 yard line and moved up the field after a couple short passes to receivers Riley Coopers and Jeremy Maclin. After an eight yard pass from quarterback Nick Foles to Darren Sproles to get to the Jacksonville 41-yard line, Sproles was given the call on an up the middle run that he flew in to the end zone without protest.
The Eagles got down early to the Jaguars after two first quarter passing touchdowns from Jags quarterback Chad Henne to rookie wide receiver Allen Hurns as well as a second quarter field goal to go down 17-0. Hurns, 22, is 6-foot-3 and was un-drafted from Miami (FL) and was later picked up by Jacksonville.
Philadelphia has been a widely known favorite to win the NFC East this season behind star running back LeSean McCoy and 2013 standout quarterback Nick Foles. But, it wasn’t McCoy paving the way for the Eagles comeback but it was speedy running back Darren Sproles scoring the first touchdown for the Eagles.
