The Denver Broncos lost Eric Decker this offseason, but signed former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders to replace him. So far, it seems Sanders is providing more dynamic play than Decker did.

Of the five times Peyton Manning targeted him, Sanders has caught all five balls for 68 yards. The fifth reception could have easily gone incomplete, but Sanders showed off his athleticism with a great diving catch in the second quarter.
The reception set up the Broncos and Manning for a five-yard touchdown pass to tight end Julius Thomas to put Denver up 24-0 over Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts.
After four seasons with the Steelers, Sanders’ career high for receptions in a game is seven. Again, he has five in the first half of the first game with his new team. With Manning throwing, you can assume a major leap in production for receivers.
Manning is coming off the greatest statistical season for a quarterback in NFL history. While he won’t likely duplicate that, this still figures to be the top offense in the league this season and Sanders will be a major part of it. He’ll have plenty more chances to make catches like this all season.
