The New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins will be kicking off their season on Sunday against each other in an AFC East showdown that could go anyway at this point.

More from Miami Dolphins

But things got a little easier for the Patriots and kickoff hasn’t even happened yet. There had been doubt about the health of tight end Rob Gronkowski leading into the season and they were doubts that were hanging around for a few years. But after countless arm surgeries and that nasty ACL injury last year, the biggest name Patriots fans were looking for on the inactive list was Gronkowski.

You won’t find his name on the list though, as Gronk has been cleared to play and will be trying to get back into the flow of things against the Dolphins.

Here’s a look at the inactives today for the Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots:

No Inactive Players to report.

New England is always going to be the favorite in this matchup no matter who is active and who isn’t. But the return of Gronkowski makes it even less likely that the Dolphins will put up a fight against New England, even if they have no inactives of their own to report.
