Last season, the Falcons put together a disappointing season and they are hoping that they will be able to bounce back in 2014.
“I don’t think you can lose your confidence just based on (last season),” quarterback Matt Ryan said, via ESPN.com. “And I don’t think we have. I think confidence is high here. I think guys expect to make the plays we need to make in order to win games.”
The Saints, on the other hand, are considered by many to be a favorite to win the NFC Championship and earn a spot in the Super Bowl. Whether or not they can get their season off on the right foot remains to be seen, but we will get that answer in a matter of hours.
