Week 1 of the 2014-15 NFL regular season kicks into full swing on Sunday afternoon, with our first full Sunday of action including a NFC meeting between the Minnesota Vikings and St. Louis Rams at the Edward Jones Dome.

Both teams were among the worst teams in the league a season ago, but they are hoping to make some positive strides in the right direction.
For the Rams, however, it will be a little more difficult without the services of their starting quarterback Sam Bradford. During the preseason, Bradford went down with a torn ACL for the second straight year.
Despite being placed in the starting lineup on short notice, expect the Rams’ new starting quarterback, Shaun Hill, to be ready to go.
“Life of a backup, you might not go in for a few years, but you have to stay ready,” Hill said, via ESPN.com. “This is not anything new, it’s not anything different. I keep the same mindset I’ve always had.”
