Things went well for the Dolphins early. After forcing a stop, the Dolphins blocked the Patriots’ punt and took over on the Patriots’ 15-yard line and the Dolphins made the Patriots pay when Ryan Tannehill found Lamar Miller on a four-yard touchdown pass.
The Patriots answered with a very impressive drive, going 80 yards in 13 plays on what was a very balanced drive. To cap off the drive, running back Shane Vereen scored from two yards out to tie the game at 7.
