Much like the AP Poll, the USA Today poll moved Oregon up to number two. Here is the complete Amway/USA Today Coaches Poll:

More from College Football

1.Florida State: The Seminoles remain number one in both polls after ho-hum win over the Citadel.

2. Alabama: The Tide rolled to stay at 2 in the coaches poll.

3. Oklahoma: The Sooners also hold off the Ducks in the minds of the coaches!

4. Oregon: The Ducks were at six in the coaches poll, and only jumped two slots with their big win. The interesting part? They have more first place votes than numbers two and three combined!

5. Auburn: This is the only other spot in the top five where the AP and Coaches agree besides number one.

6. Georgia: The Bulldogs jump two spots despite idle week.

7. Baylor: The Bears also jump two spots with offensive onslaught on Northwestern State.

8. Texas A&M: The Aggies vault five spots with thrashing of Lamar.

9. LSU: The Tigers jump three spots to give the SEC half of the top ten.

10. USC: Win on the Farm moves USC up four and into the top ten.

11. Notre Dame: Shutting out Michigan earns them a four spot jump.

12. UCLA: Much like the AP, the coaches were also not impressed with the Bruins against Memphis.

13. Michigan State: If the Spartans had kept it close, they may not have dropped so far.

14. Arizona State: They jump all the way to 14 in this poll. They are still 16 in the AP.

15. Mississippi: Dominate Vanderbilt to move up two spots.

16. Stanford: The Cardinal drop twice as many places in the coaches poll after loss to Trojans.

17. Wisconsin: Up two spots with the win over Western Illinois.

18. Ohio State: They don’t drop nearly as far as they did in the AP.

19. Virginia Tech: What is wrong with this picture??

20. Kansas State: Hold tight at 20 just like they did in Ames.

21. Nebraska: They manage to stay comfortably in the top 25 on the coaches side.

22. Missouri: The win over Toledo didn’t impress the coaches. Mizzou is right where they were last week.

23. South Carolina: Dropped two spots after struggling with East Carolina.

24. Clemson: The coaches weren’t impressed with their scrimmage, I guess.

25. North Carolina: Over BYU? Not sure I understand this one.

Out of rankings: Texas

The coaches didn’t give BYU or Virginia Tech a lot of credit for huge wins on the road, which is surprising. They should know better than anyone just how hard it is to win on the road!
