The Miami Heat have had a very busy offseason and reportedly aren’t done.

More from Miami Heat

Chuck Myron of Hoops Rumors believes the Heat will still add a big man and it seems like Nazr Mohammed and Emeka Okafor are the favorites to earn a job.

"Miami has deals with 19 players, so that leaves only one open spot for training camp. Ryan Hollins, who reportedly met with the Heat, makes sense, even though he’s not a particularly exciting name. The 20th guy on the roster doesn’t have to be, however. There are plenty of other names out there, like Julyan Stone, Nazr Mohammed and Emeka Okafor. I imagine it’ll probably be a big guy, since that’s apparently what they’re prioritizing."

The Heat could use depth behind Chris Bosh and Chris Andersen, so adding a big man makes sense.

Okafor played in every game during 2012-2013 season, but missed the entire 2013-2014 season and teams aren’t sure when he will be ready. During the 2012-2013 season, he went for 9.7 points, 8.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.0 blocks per game while shooting 47.7% from the field and 57.1% from the free throw line. In his career, he’s averaged 12.3 points, 9.9 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game while shooting 51.2% from the field and 58.4% from the charity stripe. Okafor, who was selected with the number two overall pick in the first round of the 2004 NBA Draft by the Charlotte Bobcats (Hornets), has played for the Suns (he’s never appeared in a game) and New Orleans Hornets (Pelicans).

Mohammed put up 1.6 points and 2.2 rebounds per game while shooting 42.9% from the floor and 53.3% from the free throw line last season. Mohammed was the 29th-overall pick in the first round by the Utah Jazz in 1998 but was dealt to the Philadelphia 76ers. In his 16-year career, he’s played for the 76ers, Atlanta Hawks, New York Knicks, San Antonio Spurs, Detroit Pistons Charlotte Bobcats (Hornets), Oklahoma City Thunder and Chicago Bulls.
