One of the more humorous things to emerge from the first NFL Sunday of the 2014 season was video of Carolina Panthers kicker Graham Gano trying to warmup for the second half in the midst of a marching band’s performance.

There was one trombone player in particular that Gano shoved multiple times in an effort to get his kicks off, which really helped make it the viral video it became.
But it appears all is well between Gano and the trombone player a day later.
(1/4) I just spoke with my friend Marquel Ballard from Bethune-Cookmans marching band and all is forgiven!

(2/4)We both laughed off the incident when the band came onto the field as I was kicking and he understood that we were both doing our jobs.

(3/4)He is an extremely talented trombonist who never skipped a beat yesterday which was very impressive! Since he's an @Atlanta_Falcons ...

It’s cool to see Gano resolve this situation in such a respectable way.
It’s hard to blame Gano or the trombone player too much for their actions on Sunday. Gano simply wanted to warmup and the trombone player had to do his job, even if it conflicted with Gano’s desires.
Regardless, the trombone player has tickets and field passes for a game and Gano’s Panthers are 1-0. Life is good for both parties.
