UPDATE, Sept. 10 (2:55 p.m. ET): Ellington was held out of practice again on Thursday.

UPDATE, Sept. 10 (3:30 p.m. ET): As expected, Ellington didn’t practice on Wednesday. This was anticipated as the Cardinals handle him gingerly with that foot injury, he is expected to return to practice for a limited session on Thursday.

UPDATE, Sept. 9 (3:30 p.m. ET): Ellington is wearing a boot on his foot and will attempt to practice this week.

Initial report: Ellington admitted he was less than 100 percent in Monday’s win over the San Diego Chargers, and came into the game sporting a foot injury. He finished the game with 18 carries for 80 yards.
“This game, you’ll never play pain-free,” he said, via the Arizona Republic. “That’s one thing I know. I’m willing to play through any pain.”
