Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown showed some karate skills on Sunday when he kicked Browns’ punter Spencer Lanning. It seemed that it was an unforgivable act — even between football players. But Brown said that after the game, the two players shared a laugh about the gruesome-looking kick to the face. Everything was cool.

“I definitely had a conversation with him and I think he had a sense of humor about it and he understood what was intended on the play,” Brown said, via ESPN.com. “I think [Lanning] understood there was no intent to injure anyone.”
That would be happy ending, if it were true. The Browns punter seems to have no recollection of said conversation.
“I don’t know why he would say that,” Lanning said.
Lanning also got so many twitter mentions that he had to remove the app from his phone to finally find relief. The poor punter was terrorized by Browns’ cleat and then twitter.
Brown went on to have a monster game. He finished with five receptions for 116 yards and a touchdown. His kick was the only blemish on the performance. The NFL has yet to punish him. I hear they’re pretty busy these days.
