The Cleveland Cavaliers acquired LeBron James this summer but that’s something that might have a negative effect on some of the players on the roster.

In fact, LeBron’s presence will have an overall negative effect on the roster if you’re just looking at the numbers and the box score stats. As pointed out by Sam Amico from Fox Sports Ohio, no matter what happens this season, everyone’s numbers on the Cavaliers roster are expected to go down thanks to LeBron James being there to suck up so much production.
"That’s a great question. Although I wouldn’t say “suffer.” That makes it sound like a bad thing. To be honest, I think everyone’s numbers except LeBron’s will go down. The key is that your super duper star plays his best. Everyone else needs to adjust. That’s how you win big."
This seems like a bad thing but it’s also logical. The Cavaliers have been a terrible team in years past and the brighter stars have had inflated numbers. That doesn’t mean their lower numbers indicate lack of skill, rather it proves that this team has been top heavy and is now more balanced than it has ever been.
