Somehow, San Francisco 49ers Jim Harbaugh has created new space when it comes to complimenting ones players.

Amazed by a particular highlight from Colin Kaepernick in Sunday’s victory over the Dallas Cowboys, Harbaugh compared his quarterbacks abilities to the one and only Clark Kent or as the majority of the world knows him, Superman.

From NFL.com:

"“The two plays early in the game where he stepped up, defender coming at him, stopped in his tracks and basically made a wrist-throw, a 30-, 40-yard laser to Anquan Boldin who ran an exceptional route and added good yards after the catch,” coach Jim Harbaugh said Monday, via the team’s official website. “And then, the very next play, he steps up, kicks out of a would-be tackler, running to the dead right, wrist-throws a BB to Vernon Davis in the end zone for a touchdown.“I mean, in my estimation there’s only two people that could make those two plays: One is Colin Kaepernick and the other has an ‘S’ on his chest.”"

There is no quarterback in the NFL who compares to Kaepernick when comparing physical tools–the closest would be Carolina’s Cam Newton who, ironically, is most know for his celebratory Superman touchdown dance *que the faux rivalry*. And because of this, there’s a large conglomerate who often walk away unimpressed due to Kap’s inconsistencies at quarterback.

Of course, Kaepernick is young meaning there’s still time for his quarterbacking skills to catch up with his physical tools, which ultimately may create a dilemma because it’s awfully hard toppling a Superman comparison.
