Players who have felt the sting of Roger Goodell’s brand of justice are now lining up to get even with the NFL commissioner, who remains under intense fire for his seemingly botched handling of the Ray Rice investigation.

More from New Orleans Saints

Jonathan Vilma certainly knows what it’s like to be on the wrong end of a Goodell ruling, having been suspended by Goodell for the so-called Bountygate controversy in New Orleans.

Vilma’s suspension was ultimately thrown out by a judge, then reinstated, then reduced after a review process. After all that, Vilma still lost five games off his 2012 season.

Trust me, Jonathan Vilma hasn’t forgotten about that lost time from his career. And he let his old nemesis Roger Goodell know what he thinks about his handling of the Ray Rice situation.

Somehow I doubt that Roger checks in on Vilma’s Twitter on a regular basis, but if by some chance he does, he now knows what it’s like to be called out by someone he once suspended.

How does it feel Roger? Oh, does it sting a little? That’s okay, just rub a hundred dollar bill on your cheek. That takes the pain away.
