Larry Fitzgerald recently had to take to Twitter to refute talk that he was discontent in the Arizona Cardinals offense after being targeted just four times in the team’s Monday night 18-17 victory over the San Diego Chargers. Fitzgerald had one reception for 22 yards in the team’s opener when Carson Palmer chose other receivers for most of the night, thanks to a committee approach being employed by head coach Bruce Arians.
My fathers inflammatory comments dont reflect my feelings or mood. We're 1-0 & working tirelessly to be 2-0 this week thats my only concern.

Larry Fitzgerald Sr. had tweeted out on Tuesday that he blamed politics among other things for his son’s lack of involvement in the offense, despite the fact that Arians has clearly stated games like Monday’s will be part of the process. So as to avoid even more turnovers with Carson Palmer, the Cardinals are trying to remain unpredictable by passing to their progressions rather than their players.
To his credit, Fitzgerald Jr. has had no issue with this approach and appears fully committed to winning. Once again, we see how a high-profile dad can sometimes make things awkward for his star child. Expect no more presumed friction between this star receiver and his 1-0 team.
