The National Organization for Women has called for NFL commissioner Roger Goodell to resign in the wake of allegations that the league mishandled the investigation into Ray Rice.
And now, let’s hear what ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith has to say about NOW calling for Roger Goodell’s head.
So what you’re telling me is that Stephen A. Smith is not on the side of feminists in this one?
Stephen A. Smith thinks Roger Goodell is the victim of a sort of witch hunt at the hands of feminists?
Hmm. I wonder why Stephen A. Smith would side with Goodell on this one. It couldn’t be because Stephen A. Smith himself has run afoul of feminists after making certain remarks about domestic violence.
Imagine that. Stephen A. Smith is on the side of the “enabler of woman beaters” (Keith Olbermann’s words) and against the organization that stands for the rights of women.
Well you can’t accuse Stephen A. Smith of being a phony on this one. I don’t think this is another case of Stephen A. Smith pretending to be outraged.
I really think he is angry here. I think the NOW statement struck a nerve with Stephen A. Smith. It struck the same nerve that gets hit every time he tries his moves on a cute woman at a bar and gets shot down.
Stephen A. Smith, you are as transparent as can be.
