The A.L. Wild Card game is set for Sept. 30 while the N.L. Wild Card game will go down Nov. 1. The ALDS kicks off Oct. 2 and the NLDS starts Oct. 3.
The ALCS will begin on Oct. 10 and the NLCS will kick off Oct. 11. The World Series begins Tuesday, Oct. 21 from the home park of the A.L. champion, whoever that turns out to be.
If the World Series goes seven games, the last game will be played Wednesday, Oct. 29. So, no November baseball this year, barring rain/snow-outs.
We donāt have to worry about that seventh World Series game being played in chilly Boston because the Red Sox have already been mathematically eliminated from contention. Ooh, sorry Red Sox. Better luck next year.

ESPN this year gets one Wild Card game and thatās it. After that itās all TBS, Fox Sports 1 and MLB Networks, and Fox for two league championship series games and the World Series.
Well at least the World Series is still network. The entire rest of the baseball playoffs save for two LCS games is cable.
When will the entire World Series be on Fox Sports 1? Thatās the future weāre headed toward. I can hear Bob Costas weeping slowly to himself, wondering how it came to this.
I wish I knew what to tell you Bob, I really do. Just blame Bud Selig I guess.
