Running backs can make or break your fantasy season which is why they usually fill up the opening rounds of most drafts. Knowing the right RB to start in your lineup each week is one of the keys to success and it’s important to consider a number of factors including matchup, current form, and potential game situations.

Week one definitely had its share of highs and lows with some stars like Marshawn Lynch and Le’Veon Bell going off and delivering for their owners while others like Jamaal Charles and Zac Stacy failed to show up. There were also some surprises like Knowshon Moreno and Mark Ingram and some key injuries to Ben Tate, Toby Gerhart, and Reggie Bush.
With the changing landscape, it’s vital to get your starters right for week 2. As a general rule, it’s best to stick with your stars for another week or two before pulling the plug, but it is also important to make sure you have your best lineup in place to avoid a tough 0-2 start.
To help you with all your lineup choices, check out the week 2 starting rankings at QB, WR, and D/ST which you can find on our fantasy football page or in the box above.
