The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cleveland Browns opened up their respective seasons against one another this past Sunday at Heinz Field in what was one of the more eventful games of the weekend to kick off the NFL season. But the excitement wasn’t just all about the amazing comeback by the Browns that almost gave them the win.

More from NFL

No, much of the talk after the game was about the play in which Steelers punt returner Antonio Brown, while returning a kick, nailed Browns punter Spencer Lanning right in the face with the bottom of his cleat, in what was one of the more hilarious events from the opening weekend.

Well what’s not hilarious, for Brown at least, is the fact that he has been fined over $8,000 by the NFL for the act, something that a lot of people saw coming.

Immediately following the game on Sunday, Brown immediately denied that he had done it on purpose, although it seems the league thinks otherwise.

He also said that he had talked to and apologized to Lanning, a notion that Lanning immediately refuted, saying that he had no discussions with Brown after the game.

Nonetheless, the fine will put all of this to bed once and for all, but before it does, here is one more good look at what an $8,000 kick looks like…
