The world of sports entertainment suffered yet another tragic loss yesterday afternoon when the news broke that former WCW and WWE Superstar Sean O’Haire had been found dead in his home on Tuesday at the age of 42.

At the time of the original announcement, there were not a lot of details regarding the circumstances surrounding his untimely passing other than the fact that there was no foul play suspected in his death.
Unfortunately, new details have emerged and they make this situation all that much more saddening.
According to TMZ, local police in Spartanburg, South Carolina where the wrestler, whose real name was simply Sean Christopher Haire, has stated that Haire’s death was an apparent suicide by hanging.
"“He was found in his bedroom beside his bed, with a red rope tied around his neck and connected to the bedpost. His body was discovered by his father, who then called 911.” – TMZ"
One never knows what it truly going on in someone’s life that would make them want to end their own lives like this, but it is becoming an unfortunate trend in the world today. The epidemic was brought to light most recently by the shocking death of comedian Robin Williams.
Haire had a very promising career in the Sports Entertainment business as a WWE Superstar. He had a solid in-ring presence and an ability to deliver some pretty amazing promos, like the one you see below. He always ended with the line “I’m not telling you anything that you don’t already know.”
