Alshon Jeffery injury update: Bears WR practices, still questionable vs 49ers
The Chicago Bears began the season with a stunning loss to the Buffalo Bills in their regular season opener that also saw them lose Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery to injuries in the game.

However, there was a bit of positive news for Jeffery on Friday as he was a limited participant in practice as he tries to comeback from the hamstring injury that kept him out for the second half against the Bills.
Despite practicing on Friday, Jeffery’s status for Sunday still remains a question as he is officially listed as questionable on the injury report and the third-year receiver expressed some doubt about his availability for Sunday night’s game against the San Francisco 49ers.
If Jeffery is unable to play against the 49ers, the Bears could be in bad shape considering Brandon Marshall did not practice on Friday and No. 3 receiver Josh Morgan is doubtful with a groin injury.
Quarterback Jay Cutler will have to lean on tight end Martellus Bennett and running back Matt Forte, annually one of the best receiving backs in the NFL, if Jeffery and/or Marshall are unable to play vs. San Francisco.
Marshall is a veteran who could play on Sunday’s without practicing on Friday, but there is some legit concern about the growing injury issues coming from the Bears before the team even plays their second game.
