The Arizona Cardinals are off to a 1-0 start but they’re going to need more than that if they want to compete in the toughest division in football.

More from Arizona Cardinals

Almost overnight the NFC West has become a stout division with the Niners-Seahawks rivalry becoming one of the best in sports. But beyond those two titans of the division, the Cardinals are trying to stake their claim as contenders and that means trying to put together a roster that is sound from top to bottom.

As a result, the Cardinals worked out former second-round draft pick Winston Justice this week in an effort to find all of the offensive line help they can get.

Justice has bounced around the NFL since being drafted out of USC in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He’s not really a starting caliber lineman but the Cardinals have seen in the past what it looks like when injuries ravage your offensive front.

He’s likely no more than an injury backup, but the Cardinals are leaving no stone unturned in their quest for glory in the NFC West.
