Fred Evans played all but three games for the Minnesota Vikings in 2013 but he knows the team and Belichick wants to see if there’s anything left for him to use. For a man that leaves no stone unturned in his attempts to get ahead of his competition, this interest in Evans from the Patriots comes as no surprise.
According to Rand Getlin, the Patriots worked out Evans but it’s unclear if he’s going to get a contract offer before Sunday.

The Patriots got off to a rougher than rough start against the Miami Dolphins this year as they’re 0-1 and embarrassed. Bill Belichick and Tom Brady do not get embarrassed and even if Fred Evans doesn’t help out, the Vikings might not stand much of a chance this Sunday.
