We’ve now had a few days to regroup from Week 1 of the 2014 NFL season, and I think I’m ready to declare it the most head-scratching opening week I’ve witnessed.

Seriously, what the hell was that?

The Bills beat the Bears in Chicago?!

The Steelers led the Browns 27-3 at halftime and still needed overtime to win?!?!

The Vikings went into St. Louis and beat the Rams by four touchdowns?!?!?!

THE PATRIOTS WERE SHUT OUT IN THE SECOND HALF AND LOST BY 13 POINTS TO THE DOLPHINS?!?!?!?!

If this is the NFL that’s going to exist in 2014, I’m in for a looooooong season. But, for now, I’m going assume — OK, hope — the weirdness of Week 1 was more a result of teams still being rusty and not yet fully-acclimated than anything else.

With that said, it’s time for my Week 2 picks.
