Getting a new drug policy agreement seems to be an issue for the NFL on Friday. Earlier on in the day it was reported that a deal was rather imminent, which got fantasy football owners all across the country excited that players such as Wes Welker and Josh Gordon could be reinstated and ready to contribute on the field either immediately or soon.

Well, reinstatements seem to be the issue that’s holding up the new agreement from passing through in full.
According to Ben Volin from the Boston Globe, reinstatements of the suspended players are what is holding everything up currently and preventing the suspended players from making their way back onto the field for action.

At this point, there’s not telling when a set agreement will be in place and announced, but you would imagine it could be soon. Having to deal with the reinstatements is an issue, because either way the detractors will be out in full force with whatever decision they come to. The only thing to do in this case is just find a happy medium, which is what they more than likely are trying to do.
