Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is the latest NFL player to find himself in trouble with the law.

Fox 26 is reporting that Peterson was indicted in Montgomery county for reckless or negligent injury to a child.
There are no more known details at the this time about what Peterson did. Fox 26 contacted Peterson’s attorney, but he denied to comment on the situation.
All we can really do at this point is wait for more information to pour in, but this is obviously shaping up to be a terrible situation.
Peterson now will turn himself into authorities, according to Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer.

Peterson was not at practice on Wednesday, but Vikings coach Mike Zimmer called it a “veteran day.”
Peterson has been one of the best running backs in the NFL the past few years. Last season he rushed for 1,266 yards and 12 touchdowns on 279 attempts.
The Vikings drafted Peterson with the No. 7 pick in the 2007 NFL draft out of Oklahoma.
