Doug Martin expects to play Week 2 vs. Rams
By Josh Hill
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are trying to get back on the right path this season after starting out their season 0-1. The loss last Sunday to the Panthers saw more than just the score go the wrong way on the Bucs as a slew of players have hit the injury report with a handful already being ruled out.

Adrian Clayborn was ruled out for the season on Friday with Austin Seferian-Jenkins and Michael Johnson both set to miss Sunday’s game against the St. Louis Rams. One player that a lot of folks had an eye on was Doug Martin, as the Bucs running back was listed as questionable for this weekend’s game.
According to Rick Stroud from the Tampa Bay Times, Martin is expected back in the lineup this Sunday for the Buccaneers.
"Martin practiced last week and, although he is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game, is expected back in the lineup against the St. Louis Rams. The Bucs would also like to have his good name and reputation restored as well."
Having Martin back will be big for the Bucs offense as they’re already down a tight end target in Seferian-Jenkins and the running attack will likely be leaned on a lot more. Martin was disappointing in his season debut this year but that may only motivate him more to break out against the Rams in Week 2.
