Jason Kidd on Milwaukee: ‘You hear about the buzz of the Bucks’
The Milwaukee Bucks weren’t supposed to be in this position. After an array of moves in the summer of 2013, the Bucks hoped to replicate their success in the previous season by returning to the playoffs. Fast forward a year later, the Milwaukee was the worst team in the league, eventually being awarded college stud Jabari Parker in the 2014 NBA Draft.

Now, people are showing optimism and new head coach Jason Kidd says the is feeling what this team could be in a few years.
"Even though this will be a very different challenge for Kidd, he’s adjusting to his new home and is excited about the pieces Milwaukee has on their roster. With players like Jabari Parker, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Brandon Knight, John Henson, Larry Sanders, Nate Wolters and Kendall Marshall among others, the Bucks have assembled an intriguing young core that’s worth keeping an eye on. Kidd is looking forward to working with his new squad and helping them reach their full potential.“You hear about the buzz of the Bucks,” Kidd said. “When you have new ownership that’s going to be aggressive about trying to put a contender together and young talent that’s going to take the floor, there’s a lot of reason to be excited.”"
Call it the perfect storm for Milwaukee–they stumbled upon owners who were comfortable keeping the team in Milwaukee, landed a could-be superstar in Parker to go alongside nice pieces already in place (Larry Sanders, Giannis Antetokounmpo, John Henson, etc.), and added Jason Kidd to the equation.
There are no guarantees that this situation blossoms into instant success, but it’s easy to see why the city is ecstatic about what’s to come in the future.
