The Chicago Bears are hoping that Brandon Marshall or Alshon Jeffery or preferably both will be available for the team’s Sunday night game against the San Francisco 49ers. While the outlook is bleak for the playing status of both, the Chicago Tribune’s Rich Campbell posted a Vine of Marshall and Jeffery testing their respective injuries at Levi Stadium in pre-game warmups.

They certainly look spry enough to run some routes and catch some passes, but we might have a better idea of their preparedness for an NFL game if a defensive back was shoving one of them around while he ran those routes. We also don’t know the pain level involved with those warmups. As it is, the Bears appear likely to be without one of both of their top receivers against a stout 49ers defense in the San Francisco’s home opener in a new stadium.
The Chicago Bears are hoping to move to 1-1 after a surprising home loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 1 while the 49ers hope to move to 2-0 after smothering the Dallas Cowboys in Dallas.
