By Hayden Kane
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers currently find themselves in a weather delay in their week 2 game against the St. Louis Rams. Specifically, those teams are waiting to get back on the field because of lightning in the area.

When that game does resume, the Buccaneers will be without one of the best defensive players in the NFL. In a story that has been buried a little bit because of the odd situation with the weather, defensive tackle Gerald McCoy is out for the remainder of the game with a hand injury.
As there has been time for more details to emerge, it has been reported that McCoy sustained a broken hand.
That is obviously bad news for the Bucs, but given the position that McCoy plays, he still might be able to stay on the field even with a broken hand. That is what will have to be determined for the games beyond this one.
McCoy might miss some time or he might be able to play with some sort of club/cast on his hand. That is what the Buccaneers will have to determine.
