The San Diego Chargers are showing some life offensively and looking to make a statement against the Seattle Seahawks. Coming off a loss on the road against the Arizona Cardinals last week, Philip Rivers and company are looking to even up their record and get things back on track at home with a win over the defending Super Bowl champions.

San Diego head coach Mike McCoy has been able to create some match-up problems for the Seattle defense, something that is easier said than done. The Chargers famously went into this game refusing to shy away from Seattle corner Richard Sherman. What they have also done, and perhaps more importantly, is find a way to get tight end Antonio Gates open twice for touchdown receptions.
Here is the second TD which, like Gates’ first TD in this game, came from eight yards out.
When Gates is full strength, he is a huge weapon for the Chargers’ offense. He has shown as much in the first half on Sunday against the Seahawks.
